Who’s your cow?
Thumper, 959
We all miss Thumper. What was your favorite thing about her?
Her huge teats and the fact that I could always ID her in the parlor because of them.
Tell us about your previous animal husbandry experience.
I helped with two research studies at the Organic Dairy Research Farm by feeding the cows and collecting samples from them. I have also worked at the UNH horse stable for a year and a half now.
Why did you decide to do CREAM?
I wanted a more immersive experience of working with large animals, and I also hoped it would look good on vet school applications.
So far, what accomplishment are you most proud of?
Helping fix and reorganize the information for the Finance committee.
What are your goals and hopes for the year?
My goal is to finish out CREAM without getting taken out by a cow (hasn't happened yet), and to hopefully get into vet school after applying next semester.
What do you do when you’re not in the barn?
I read, do homework, go to classes, and hang out with my friends.
