Major: Animal Science Dairy Management Hometown: Columbia, NH Who's your cow? Dandelion 991 What's your favorite thing about her? My favorite thing about my cow is that she is an efficient producer, has good conformation, and has a cute face :) Tell us about your previous dairy experience. I have a lot of previous dairy experience. I come from a small dairy farm with all the breeds of dairy cows you can think of. We milk about 75 cows and have over 100 heifers. Of these cows I have shown some all of my life. I have done many dairy events through 4-H such as dairy quizbowl (where I went to the national competition in Louisville, KY) dairy judging where I competed regionally, and national dairy conference in Madison, WI where I also got to show at World Dairy Expo. I also have attended the national holstein convention for quizbowl and got to tour some of the industry’s holstein facilities. Why did you decide to do CREAM? I decided to do CREAM not only because it was a major requirement but it sounded like it would be a fun experience! What do you do when you're not in the barn? When I’m not in the barn, I enjoy watching cow shows, looking at show results, and also watching Netflix and playing with my 5 guinea pigs!
